Artist's Comments
"Mos Fête" was the name of the annual gala of my engineer school, and i did this painting for the poster of it in february 2000. I know the wings and antennas seem totally irrelevant on this painting, so i need to explain that the bee was my school's symbol (see the jewel in the neck). I made a lot of creatures with wings during this period 
Even if the face looks a bit wonky i tried to give the girl a very sensual expression, together with a smiling look (the goal was to attract people to this party). I think i succeeded, it's my mother's favorite painting
It has been painted on a 28x55 cm canvas (11x21.6 in)
I used mainly oil painting but also various layers of airbrushed acrylic ink.
